‘Musharraf exercising constitutional right’
ISLAMABAD:
Former chief minister Punjab, president PML-Q Chaudhry Pervez Elahi said that forming a political party is the constitutional right of former president Pervez Musharraf. He added that the PML-Q has not decided whether it will support Musharraf’s party or not.
Speaking to journalists on Sunday, Elahi said that all political parties in the country are united on national issues but have their unique political affiliations. He also said that in the past, PML-Q constituted a government with Musharraf, but he left the party and went abroad in the same manner as ‘Sharif-Brethren’ left the country by making an agreement with Musharraf.
