Opponents & critics envious of PPP's performance and achievements
KARACHI:
Sindh Information, Archives and Labour Minister Saeed Ghani said on Sunday that the Pakistan Peoples Parties (PPP) has been serving the masses for the past four decades and will continue to do so in the coming years.
He further said that the party's opponents and critics are envious of its performance and achievements, adding that they resent PPP for completing development projects at a fast pace.
The provincial minister expressed these views during a surprise visit to Manzoor Colony and nearby areas.
He said that PPP's opponents "are scared of the Sindh government completing development projects at a fast pace," assuring that the provincial government is making all-out efforts for completing ongoing schemes as quickly as possible, in Karachi and elsewhere.
"Facilitating the masses is the top priority of the Sindh government," he said.
During his visit, the information minister reviewed the development of roads and nullahs in the area and directed that ongoing projects be completed swiftly.
Ghani was also apprised of the problems faced by the areas locals, at which he commented, "I will be frequently visiting the area and will personally monitor the performance of relevant officials and civic agencies."
City administration's senior officials accompanied the minister on the visit.
