Four motorcyclists killed in road accidents

Rescue 1122 has shifted the bodies to a hospital

Four people were killed in separate road accidents in Bhawlal and Dullewala police limits. Police sources said that Abdul Jabbar Shakir, 25, resident of village Dullewala along with his companion Ehsan Ullah, 26, were moving on a motorcycle when a recklessly driven tractor-trolley hit the motorbike near Pakki canal.

Consequently, both Jabbar and Ullah died on the spot. Rescue 1122 shifted the bodies to a hospital.

In another accident, a speeding driven Hyundai vehicle hit to death two motorcyclists Mumtaz and Taeed Shah of Chak 3/NB Bhalwal near Chak 11 Adda and fled. Police have registered separate cases.


Meanwhile, price control magistrates have arrested twenty-six shopkeepers and fined them on overcharging and not displaying price lists on Saturday.

Authorities said that on the direction of Deputy Commissioner Sargodha Abdullah Nayyar, during a drive against price hike, selling substandard necessities of life and not displaying price lists at shops, the magistrates have separately conducted raids at different shops at Naseerpur, Old Bhalwal, Sillanwali, Miani, Chak 23-NB and other villages, arrested and fined 26 shopkeepers.
