Madonna infuses her blood with Ozone gas after cancelling three concerts

There's no denying her guts, but we're not too sure about this

After the cancellation of three shows, popular singer Madonna has gone all out in her attempt to get back in her fishnets on her Madame X Tour.

The 61-year old underwent an unbelievable treatment where she had her blood drawn out, had ozone gas mixed with it and ‘spun’ at speed, in a type of alternative medicine called Autohemotherapy, which is believed to heal injuries, according to Metro UK.

Living in the ozone we do, it's no secret that it is nothing to be scared off, being made up of the three atoms of oxygen. However, what's creepy is that her entire treatment was captured on film and posted on her Instagram page.

In the video, the Material Girl’s twin daughters Stelle and Estere, seven, are at her side.

In her caption, she wrote: "Infusing the blood, vitamin drip, tibetan bowls, singing and meditation. Felt amazing afterwards!"

The footage shows Madonna lying on a massage table hooked up to an IV drip.

Osteopath Jean-Michel Été massages her feet with naturopath Dr Matea playing Tibetan bowls. Dr Matea is seen ‘rotating’ five litres of Madonna’s blood, to which she comments, "that’s a lot," before adding the ozone gas and re-infusing it back into her body.

"It looks like a big glass of beet juice," Madonna adds.

The Hung Up star cancelled three shows in Boston, America, last weekend and took to Instagram to explain "the pain I’m in right now is overwhelming and I must rest and follow doctors orders so i can come back stronger and better".

Autohemotherapy is sometimes performed in conjunction with ozone therapy to treat joint pain due to rheumatoid arthritis or gout. It’s not the first time that Madonna has suffered injuries on this tour.
