Mishap: Two killed in Haripur

HARIPUR: Two people including a teenage boy were killed in two separate incidents on Saturday. In the first incident, a man committed suicide over unknown reasons. According to the Hattar Police, Jan Muhammad, a resident of Muhalla Sheeni Mera was upset over some unknown issue for the last several days. On Thursday afternoon, he locked himself in a room, where his body was found hanging from the ceiling fan later. Meanwhile, a teenage cyclist was run over by a speeding truck near Hattar village. Eyewitnesses and police said that Ehsanullah, 16, was on his way to a local market when he was hit by speeding truck and died on the spot. The driver managed to escape the scene. However, the truck has been impounded and the police are searching for its driver.
