Plane carrying presidential staff makes emergency landing

Leakage in fuel tank forced plane to return after 12 minutes of flight. Security staff and media team was on board.

ISLAMABAD: A C-130 plane carrying the president’s entourage to Iran made an emergency landing after an early discovery of a technical fault, Express 24/7 reported on Saturday.

A leakage in the fuel tank was discovered and the plane returned to land at the airport after twelve minutes of flight.

The President’s security staff and media team were on board the aircraft.

President Asif Ali Zardari has already left for Tehran. He is expected meet Iranian officials, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and supreme leader Ali Khamenei for talks on “bilateral relations and regional issues.”

Prompt action by the cockpit crew brought the passangers and plane to safe landing.By the time this is released the entourage would have already in Tehran to join the rest of the delegation.But what we would be reading the rest of the two days will be very interesting? The insipid minds pouring their theories over the incident.
