Seminars and workshops will be organized while youth ambassadors will be trained from December 9 onwards

The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-p) government has decided to launch an awareness campaign in the newly-merged tribal districts to highlight the importance of the local government system.
In this regard, awareness seminars and workshops will be organized in these areas while youth ambassadors will be trained from December 9 onwards.
The Local Government, Elections and Rural Development Department have said that it is working to respond to the specific needs of the citizens of the province within the ambit of local governance.
For this purpose, they said that the department has been assigned the task of implementing K-P Local Government Act 2013, to achieve the stated objectives of the local government reforms introduced by the provincial government.
