QUETTA:
Balochistan High Court (BHC) Chief Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhail on Saturday inaugurated the newly constructed sessions court building in Quetta’s Sariab area and vowed to ensure provision of easy and quick justice to the people.

The newly constructed sessions court, comprising six courtrooms, would hear cases coming from seven police stations of Sariab division.

“There were 1,500 pending cases in our courts filed by the people of Sariab. The new sessions court would ensure speedy hearing of public cases,” Justice Mandokhail said.

He urged political parties to contribute their role in provision of justice to the people, adding that the judiciary in Balochistan is keenly working to provide justice to the masses at their doorstep.

“Along with the bench and judges, the political parties also have a responsibility to help the applicants to expel negative propaganda being spread about the situation of Sariab.

“At least 13,000 cases are still pending at district and sessions courts while the BHC has been hearing 5,500 pending cases,” Justice Mandokhail said.
