Court orders FIR against K-P health minister
Minister’s guard along with 10 other respondents attacked doctor during his duty timing

A sessions court on Saturday directed University Town police station to register an FIR against K-P Health Minister Hisham Inamullah Khan and Lady Reading Hospital Board of Governors Chairman Nowsherwan Burki and 10 others for injuring on duty senior doctor of the Khyber Teaching Hospital Dr ZiaUddin.
The general surgeon had suffered a head injury and fell unconscious when the K-P health minister along with his guards allegedly thrashed him at Khyber Teaching Hospital (KTH) on Tuesday, May 15.
Additional Sessions Judge Tanveer Iqbal heard the lawsuits of Dr Ziauddin on Saturday. Dr Zia said that he received head and body injuries when Inamullah, Burki, minister’s guard along with 10 other respondents attacked him during his duty timing. The petitioner said that he remained in ICU for nine days.
