Educating women is our prime duty: Usman Buzdar
The provincial minister said that educated mothers can play a crucial role in the development of an educated society
On the directions of Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, Punjab Minister for Health Dr Yasmeen Rashid had a brief with lady guide scouts of different educational institutions of Dera Ghazi Khan Division in CM Secretariat.
Punjab Member of Provincial Assembly Dr Shaheena Kareem, In-charge Asia and many other female scouts were there present on the occasion.
The provincial minister said that educated mothers can play a crucial role in the development of an educated society. “The prime minister and the chief minister believe in the equal role and responsibilities of men and women for the progress and prosperity of our country.”
The provincial government is taking steps to provide equal opportunities to women in our society, she added. “In the health sector, five state-of-the-art mother and child hospitals are being built to facilitate the public.”
The provision of facilities in health and education sectors is the top priority of government, she maintained.
