PESHAWAR:
Having received over 90,000 applications from across the province in just five weeks, the government-backed entrepreneurial programme, ‘Kamayab Jawan Programme’ has been met with an overwhelming response and will help provide employment opportunities to the youth.

This was stated by Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Chief Minister Mahmood Khan on Friday as he received a briefing on the programme on Friday.

CM Mahmood urged to extend the deadline for submitting applications for residents of the newly-merged tribal districts (NMTDs) keeping in view factors such as the absence of universal internet access and banking facilities.

Moreover, he suggested that an alternate mechanism could also be developed for residents of the erstwhile federally administered tribal areas (Fata) to apply which is relatively user-friendly and keeps the dynamics of NMTDs in view.
