Cleanliness, biodegradable bags awareness

A walk to highlight the importance of cleanliness and increasing the use of biodegradable bags was organized by the Pakistan Red Crescent Society was held at Samar Bagh bazaar on Friday.

Samar Bagh assistant commissioner and additional assistant commissioner participated in the walk and called upon the general public to get involved and ensure the subdivision is clean and green. People were also briefed on how the of biodegradable bags instead of polythene bags, which are is highly injurious to health, are good for the environment.
