Gatorade organised a fitness festival, #SweatAThon, on November 24, which kicked off with a press conference held by Khalid Malik and Ayesha Omer.
The event featured senior representatives of PepsiCola International, Pakistan Beverages Limited and Shoaib Akhtar.
A marathon took place after the press conference, where participants ran five kilometres and the top three runners were awarded Rs50,000, Rs30,000 and Rs15,000, respectively. Fitness trainer Nusrat Hidayatullah conducted a boot camp at the Moin Khan Academy followed by a musical concert by Strings.
The aim of the event was to promote a culture of health and fitness, while encouraging people to deliver their best not only in sports but in their daily lives as well.
