Crime: Man killed on road; cab snatched

A man was killed in hit-and-run accident in RA Bazaar area on Thursday. The police sources said, Alam Zaib, a resident of Allama Iqbal Colony was hit by an unknown near Takbeer Hotel and fled.
Zaib received multiple wounds and was taken to District Headquarter hospital, where the doctors pronounced him dead. Muhammad Yaqub lodged a complaint with the same police that unknown men snatched his taxi at gun point and fled.
In the third incident, Muhammad Haris lodged a report with the police that his motorcycle (RIM-1049) had been stolen from outside his house, in the same locality. The incidents of road accidents, vehicle theft or snatching have become order of the day in RA Bazaar areas.
