Development: Mega projects to be initiated in K-P
Benazir hospital in Peshawar, construction of Hassan Abdal- Mansehra expressway

Huge funds have been earmarked in the federal budget 2011-12 for mega projects in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) that would bring positive change in the lives of the people affected by militancy and economic crunch, said Provincial Minister for Labour Sher Azam Wazir. Talking to journalists on Friday, the minister said that mega projects would be initiated in the current fiscal year in the K-P including Benazir hospital in Peshawar, construction of Hassan Abdal- Mansehra expressway as funds have been allocated by the federal government. He said that funds have also been allocated for Chasma Right Bank Lift Canal project that would help irrigate millions of acres of land in southern districts of the province.
