CHAMAN:
A protest rally was held in Chaman against the desecration of the Holy Quran in Norway in which people from all walks of life participated and chanted slogans against the European state.
Protestors walked along various roads of the city. Addressing the demonstration on Taj Road, the representatives of Anjuman-e- Tajran urged the government to boycott Norway and record a global protest against the country.
They further said desecration of Holy Quran in Norway has deeply upset Muslims. The participants of the rally also appealed to the people to boycott all Norwegian products.
Last week, the head of Norway’s extreme right-wing group, Stop the Islamisation of Norway (SION), held a protest against Islam and attempted to burn a copy of the Holy Quran.
