Cricket: MCC committee to meet next week

The meeting will address issues related to corruption in cricket and the game’s governance.

The Maryleborne Cricket Club (MCC) World Cricket Committee will be holding a meeting at Lord’s on July 18, which will be chaired by former England international Tony Lewis. The meeting will address issues related to corruption in cricket and the game’s governance, as well as look into the possibilities of holding a World Test Championship. Prominent former cricketers including Steve Waugh, Martin Crowe, Majid Khan, Geoffrey Boycott, Michael Atherton and Anil Kumble among others will be attending the meeting.
