NAB issues three-year performance report
Showing a 700% increase in recovery in housing sector cases and a 500% increase in recovery in corruption scams

The Lahore National Accountability Bureau (NAB) issued its three-year comparative performance report which showed a 700% increase in recovery in cases related to the housing sector and a 500% increase in recovery in all corruption scams.
Lahore has shown a substantial increase in collection from corrupt elements by recovering around Rs36 billion since 2017 while Rs4.51 billion were recovered from 1999 to 2016 from just the housing sector. Further, from 1999 to 2016 the regional bureau collected Rs6.55 billion all corruption cases which increased to Rs38 billion during the last three years.
Speaking at the occasion, NAB LAHORE Director General Shahzad Saleem said that the bureau has been struggling to recover looted money from corrupt elements.
