Govt urged to implement child protection laws
More than 600 children from different schools, orphanages and slums areas of twin cities participated in the event

Child Right Movement Pakistan and different Civil Society Organisation celebrated the Universal Children’s Day 2019 and 30 years celebration of UN Convention on the Right of the Child (UNCRC) at F-9 Park Islamabad.
More than 600 children from different schools, orphanages and slums areas of twin cities participated in the event. Different fun and recreational activities were designed for children. Parents, community members, parliamentarians, celebrities were also present there to celebrate this day.
Parliamentary Secretary Health Naushin Hamid said government is dedicated to ensuring the rights of each and every child as described in UNCRC.
SPARC Executive Director Sajjad Cheema said that child rights are not properly protected.
