Govt takes action against corrupt officials
30 employees of the food department were sacked from their jobs, 12 others arrested
ISLAMABAD:
Balochistan government has initiated various departmental inquiries against numerous staff members who are allegedly involved in misconduct and corrupt practices.
Talking to APP, an official of the provincial government informed that almost 70 doctors and more than 100 paramedical staff members have been dismissed from their jobs for not performing their duties.
He said the government had taken stern action against the ghost employees of the education department and terminated the services of approximately 3000 while many others have been served notices.
The official informed that 30 employees of the food department were sacked from their jobs while 12 others got arrested on the charges of misconduct. Meanwhile, the investigation was in progress against 60 others, he added.
