Missing persons: Body recovered in Turbat

The body was identified as Nor Bhaksh, a resident of Nasirabad area in Turbat

QUETTA: Another body of a missing Baloch person was recovered from Turbat on Thursday, the police said. The body was identified as Nor Bhaksh, a resident of Nasirabad area in Turbat, who was listed as missing a month ago. His relatives had held government functionaries responsible for his disappearance. “Five people are still missing from the Nasirabad area of Turbat,” a close relative of the victim told The Express Tribune, adding that the families also held a news conference in Quetta and Kech districts for the safe recovery of the missing persons. According to the Voice for Baloch Missing Persons, an organisation striving for their recovery – as many as 165 bodies of missing persons have been recovered in the past year in different parts of Balochistan. Interior Minister Rehman Malik however, said that 116 bodies were found.
