Four-day anti-polio drive in Hazara, Shangla from today
The drive will also be followed by a one-day catch-up campaign to vaccinate all those children who were missed

The Emergency Operations Centre is launching a four-day anti-polio drive in nine districts of the province from today.
According to a statement released by the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Emergency Operations Centre (EOC), the campaigns will be run in Torghar, Upper Kohistan, Lower Kohistan, Kolai Palas, Shangla, Battagram, Abbottabad, Mansehra and Haripur areas of Hazara Division.
The drive will also be followed by a one-day catch-up campaign to vaccinate all those children who were missed during the main days of the drive. The provincial health department said that they aim to immunise some 1.09 million children below five-years-of-age. As many as 4,800 vaccination teams, comprising some 4,162 mobile teams, 427 fixed teams, 182 transit teams and 33 roaming teams, will vaccinate the children.
