Dost Khosa: Police chief to respond to ‘missing wife’ plea
The film star had last been seen beaten up by friends of the former CM and bundled into a car along with her daughter

Additional Sessions Judge Malik Mubeen Ahmad on Thursday sought replies from the capital city police officer (CCPO) and the Race Course police station house officer by July 16 to a habeas corpus petition concerning the wife of former chief minister Sardar Dost Muhammad Khosa and their baby daughter.
Earlier in the day, Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed of the LHC had disposed of the plea and asked the petitioner to approach the Sessions Court under Section 491 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) for the recovery of actress Zeba Khan, alias Sapna Khan, and her daughter.
Petitioner Advocate Muhammad Azhar Siddique, citing a story in an Urdu daily published on July 7, said that the film star had last been seen in June being beaten up by friends of the former chief minister and bundled into a car along with her daughter. The report said that the couple had been fighting because Khan wanted to live at Khosa’s official residence in GOR-1 one but he had forced her to live in a house in Johar Town. The petitioner said that he feared for her life.
