Superstar singer Rihanna appeared to confirm she will be taking a break from Instagram as she spoke about her “overwhelming” year in a latest social media post.

RiRi shared a fierce selfie alongside a message asking her family, friends and co-workers to forgive her for not getting back to them.  "To all my friends, family, coworkers who I have yet to get back to from the past months, please forgive me. This year has been quite an overwhelming one, and I’m working on that 'ish' called balance," Rihanna captioned the post.

The We Found Love hit maker also said she was going to work on her professional and personal life balance, ending the post with “Brb.” And it looks like Rihanna has 'found love' with Saudi billionaire Hassan Jamil, whom she has been lowkey dating since 2017.

Things are reportedly now serious, with Rihanna mentioning her desire to have a family recently.

Aside from this, it is no surprise Rihanna needs a break as she has been hard at work in her professional career. The star released her Savage x Fenty lingerie collection as well as her luxury Fenty clothing line, among other projects this year. Rumours are also rife that Rihanna has been working on a new album, despite repeatedly hinting it will not be released for quite sometime.
