QUETTA:
Balochistan Chief Minister’s Coordinator for Public Affairs Bilal Khan Kakar on Wednesday said the federal government was paying special attention on the development of Balochistan to remove backwardness from the province.

Talking to APP, he appreciated the federal government for starting direct flights from Quetta to Jeddah along with providing facilities to traders and the pilgrims.

He said the expenditure and travel time of the passengers has been reduced after the commencement of direct flights.

“The government is taking special interest in the province’s progress and in addressing problems of the  people,” he said, adding that Balochistan could be developed by serving the public instead of causing uncertainty through protests and sit-in politics.

“Unfortunately, political parties in the past always misled people and failed in addressing the problems,” Kakar lamented.

He urged the opposition leaders to cooperate with the government for sustainable development of the country.
