Pakistan to feature in Asian kabbadi event
India, Iran and Sri Lanka to also take part in tournament.

Pakistan along with India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia are to feature in the first 10-Nation Asian Circle Style Kabbadi Championship to be held from September 23 to 28 in Tabriz, Iran.
The Pakistan Kabaddi Federation Honorary Secretary Mohammad Sarwar, while confirming their participation, said the Asian Federation has taken a useful step in a bid to include the particular format of kabbadi in the Asian Games.
“We welcome the inauguration of the event at the Asian level and hence participating in it,” said Sarwar.
“The event will feature the top teams from Asia including India, hosts Iran and Pakistan. We have gifted athletes and the event could serve as an opportunity to exhibit our talents at an international platform. The Asian Federation has decided to extend the game and are hopeful that the format will be included in the Asian Games.”
