Deadlock ends between PPP and JUI-F
A series of negotiations successfully ended a deadlock between the government and JUI-F, with the center accepting most of the demands of its important ally.
Sources disclosed that Makhdoom Amin Fahim and Rehman Malik played an important role in the negotiations.
The government has decided to stop the military operation in Kaladhaka and release JUI activists. It also promised to give serious consideration to recommendations passed by the council of Islamic Ideology at different occassions.
The government will also allocate adequate funds to the two ministries headed by JUI parliamentarians, namely Maulana Uttaul Haq and Azam Swati.
