IGP lauds security arrangements

He says all forces should perform their duties with the same zeal in order to protect the wealth, lives of the people

Punjab Inspector General of Police (IGP) Arif Nawaz appreciated the officers and officials of Punjab police for ensuring the best security arrangements for Eid Miladun Nabi and other congregations in the province.

He expressed these views through a wireless message to the CCPO, RPOs, CPOs, DPOs and others on Monday. The IGP said that officials deserve appreciation for their hard work, commitment and determination in maintaining security during the Eid Miladun Nabi processions.

Acknowledging the performance of the district police, the traffic police, the Dolphin Response Unit and others, the IGP said that all forces should perform their duties with the same zeal and fervour in order to maintain the supremacy of law and protect the wealth and the lives of the people.

He directed that the force should improve coordination between the police and the public. He added that the police should use modern technology to improve its performance.
