Land record employees throng the Mall

The visually impaired also spent Eid Miladun Nabi celebrating as well as protesting on the spot

The issue of traffic congestion worsened on Monday after the employees of Punjab Land Record Authority (PLRA) also thronged Mall Road in front of Punjab Assembly in favour of their demands.

The visually impaired persons and sub-engineers welfare association were already protesting for the eighth consecutive day and the engineers had been protesting outside Civil Secretariat. On Monday, they marched towards Faisal Chowk.


The visually impaired persons also spent Eid Miladun Nabi celebrating as well as protesting on the spot.

The City Traffic Police Lahore (CTPL) have special arrangements in place and deployed extra contingents besides setting up diversions to maintain the flow of traffic. The PLRA officers’ demands included the introduction of service structure, review a rule regarding commission on mutation, payment of due to last three years, etc.
