Serving people top priority of Balochistan govt, says Zamrak Achakzai

The minister also briefed delegations on numerous development schemes initiated under PSDP in the ongoing fiscal year

QUETTA: Provincial Minister for Agriculture Engineer Zamrak Khan Achakzai said that a number of schemes were in progress in education, health, and agriculture besides construction of roads and dams in Balochistan to serve the masses.

He shared this during a meeting with representatives hailing from Qilla Abdullah, Qilla Saifullah and other districts of Balochistan who called on him.

Elaborating the schemes, Achakzai said that the development projects have been started in Pashtun populated areas of the province strengthening trust of the people on government and ensuring prosperity in the areas.

The minister also briefed delegations on numerous development schemes initiated under Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) in the ongoing fiscal year.

“Projects and schemes, planned in the current fiscal year, are underway. Completion of these projects will bring prosperity in the region,” he said.

Briefing on the top priorities of the government, the minister said, “Serving the masses, ensuring the provision of basic facilities and addressing issues of the public are top priorities of the government.”

Achakzai assured that the government would employ all efforts to resolve issues of the masses.

The representatives of delegations assured support to the minister.

Achakzai vowed to fulfil commitments of government with the masses, adding that law and order, education, health and provision of employment to youth would be ensured on priority.
