Pakistani authors Kamila Shamsie and Mohsin Hamid's work have made it to BBC Top 100 Novels List that shaped our world.
The publication unveiled the list on its website on Tuesday. Hamid's The Reluctant Fundamentalist and Shamsie's Home Fire were mentioned in its respective categories.
The Pakistani authors have won several accolades internationally for their work.
Hamid's The Reluctant Fundamentalist was also adapted into a film that starred British-Pakistani actor Riz Ahmed and singer Meesha Shafi.
Other than Shamsie and Hamid, George R R Martin's famous book series, A Song of Ice and Fire was also named in the list. Khaled Hosseini's A Thousand Splendid Suns, Jane Austin's classic Pride and Prejudice, Elif Shafak's Forty Rules of Love also received a mention.
