Govt urged to ensure safety of property
The police have arrested one of the suspects while the other three are roaming around freely
QUETTA:
Tribal leaders have claimed that a land grabber group has demolished over a dozen houses in Quetta's East Bypass area while more settlements are being eroded under the supervision of police.
The high officials of the police should take notice of the matter and ensure justice for us, said the area's tribal leaders Noor Muhammad, Agha Muhammad, Jumma Khan and Hayatullah while addressing a press conference at Quetta Press Club.
Noor Muhammad maintained that fifteen people reached his place along with a police DSP on October 15 and demolished the walls of his house.
“Upon resistance, I was hit with a gunstock and injured,” Noor Muhammad said, adding that he has got an FIR registered against four suspects.
The police have arrested one of the suspects while the other three are roaming around freely.
