Bilateral relations: Sri Lankan envoy arrives in Pakistan

Peiris is expected to hold discussions with President Asif Ali Zardari in Islamabad.

COLOMBO: Sri Lankan External Affairs Minister G L Peiris on Wednesday left for Pakistan on a two-day official visit, the External Affairs Ministry said. Peiris is expected to hold discussions with President Asif Ali Zardari in Islamabad. Both countries agreed to enhance bilateral trade and cooperate in various sectors of economy, during the recently held 10th session of Pakistan- Sri Lanka Joint Economic Commission in Islamabad.
