Govt commences feasibility study for development
Balochistan government plans to promote tourism at the coastal strip while in the first phase

Coordinator to Chief Minister Mir Abdul Rauf Rind on Monday announced to start a feasibility study of coastal areas’ development from Lasbela district after a meeting with leaders of the fisherman community.
The coordinator visited Gadani, Kund Malir and other coastal areas of Balochistan where he met the delegation of local fishermen to hear their issues.
“During the detailed visit of the coastal areas, we have heard the issues of the local fishermen community and now the feasibility report would be prepared and submitted to the Chief Minister,” Rind said. “Provincial government has plans to promote tourism at the coastal strip while in the first phase, different spots would be finalised for tourism activities.”
Talking about meetings with local fishermen, coordinator to CM Balochistan said the issues of the fisherman will be resolved on priority basis.
“The 70% of the country’s coastal strip passes through Balochistan hence provincial government is utilising all resources to ensure development in these areas while also working earnestly to ensure provision of facilities to the local fishermen community,” Rind added.
