Commissioner lauds Rangers for their efforts in Karachi operation

The 27th passing out parade was organised for the Rangers Basic Recruits Training Course at the Sindh Rangers Training Centre in Karachi on Saturday. Around 966 recruits passed out after having completed their training. Sindh Governor Imran Ismail, who was the chief guest at the event, reviewed the parade and distributed awards to the recruits. He was welcomed by Rangers Sindh DG Major General Omer Ahmed Bukhari.

Ismail congratulated the recruits, trainers and their families and lauded the efforts of Sindh Rangers in eliminating the menace of terrorism and violent crimes. He thanked them for the Karachi operation which according to him, resulted in the restoration of economic stability and international cricket in Karachi.

The governor also lauded the sacrifices of the martyrs of Sindh Rangers who lost their lives in the line of duty.

A number of senior officers and soldiers, along with the families of the recruits, witnessed the passing out parade. Commandos of the Sindh Rangers also performed an anti-terrorist demonstration on the occasion.
