Good news! Mehwish Hayat and Humayun Saeed are pairing up for the third time, as film-maker Nadeem Beyg has announced two new films for next year, both starring the latter as male lead.
Talking to Masala! about his highly-anticipated 2020 release London Nahin Jaunga, the director has now confirmed that Hayat will be appearing opposite Saeed in what could be the second installment of their 2017 super hit Punjab Nahi Jaungi.
Beyg, however, clarified that London Nahi Jaunga is not a sequel to Punjab Nahi Jaungi but a completely different story in same genre, even though it is also written by celebrated writer Khalilur Rehman Qamar.
He also revealed that his second film of next year is written by Vasay Chaudhry, who also penned block busters Jawani Phir Nahin Ani 1 and 2.
Beyg further revealed that he still has not decided which of the two films he is going to shoot first, as it depends on which script he is handed over first.
Talking about why he signed Saeed in both, the director said that he trusts his acting skills and thought it was appropriate to cast Saeed as he has not done any films for the last two years. According to Beyg, both the projects have been written with Saeed in mind.
