After his initial arrest, Steel Town Police had presented him before the court to obtain his remand. The court ordered the police to take the accused to the hospital for a medical check-up.
Subsequently, Landhi Police sought the accused's custody to investigate him in a robbery case. Qadir was to be presented in an identification parade before the complainant, who had stated that four robbers had deprived him of Rs800,000 on gunpoint in Landhi on September 27.
