MWMC introduced second cleanliness shift

Residents of Multan will be able to enjoy a clean city during the evenings as the Multan Solid Waste Management Company (MWMC) has introduced a second shift to ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the city.

Officially beginning on Thursday, MWMC Managing Director Nasir Shehzad Dogar inaugurated the cleanliness drive at Jalal Mosque Chowk a few days ago.

Speaking on the occasion, Dogar stated that the campaign has been launched on the directives of Multan Deputy Commissioner Amir Khattak. He explained that the duration of the second shift will be from 1pm to 9pm.

“The purpose behind introducing a second shift is to promote a culture of sports and jogging among the youth during the evening,” he said. The people of Multan will be able to visit clean parks and grounds during the evening where they can spend quality time.
