SARGODHA: The district administration on Wednesday expressed anger over the poor performance of four departments in eradicating dengue and directed the officers concerned to submit reports regarding negligence in the anti-dengue campaign.

Deputy Commissioner Asia Gull took action against four departments and their heads, including Rescue 1122 District Emergency Officer Mazhar Shah, Tehsil Municipal Corporation Chief Officer Tariq Paroya, the Punjab Healthcare Commission divisional manager and Environment Protection Department Assistant Director Anjum Riaz.

She stated that the officials concerned were avoiding attending meetings reviewing dengue arrangements and action would be taken if they are absent during the next meeting.

All departments should participate in order to eliminate dengue, she said.
