CM Buzdar states that anybody daring to ask for money would be dealt with an iron hand
LAHORE:
Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar directed to suspend Dera Ghazi Khan Sub-Registrar Imran Hameed for not assuming charge of the post and for being unavailable at his office.
The CM issued these orders on Monday, while reviewing the registry through an online system established by the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB).
According to the handout, the chief minister inquired about the possibility of staff extorting citizens. He stated that anybody daring to ask for money would be dealt with an iron hand.
One citizen claimed that the Dera Ghazi Khan sub-registry had been transferred but the new sub-registrar had not taken charge. He added that they had come to pursue their cases and were waiting for the past four to five hours. Another claimed that he had visited the office for the past few days but the office concerned was not available.
