Tests for the long awaited recruitment of 15 drivers and 13 conductors to operate transport services for college students in Multan will be held on July 31. According to Multan division colleges director Prof Muhammad Hussain Azad, interviews for the position will be held on August 1. Azad told reporters that the government had provided new buses to facilitate students, particularly girls, however, drivers and conductors required for the task had not been recruited for two years due to financial constraints. The director colleges said that applications had also been invited for the post of watchman for three colleges including Makhdoom Rasheed colleges for boys and girls and Willayat Hussain Islamia Degree College by July 27. Interviews will be held on July 30 and candidates would be offered a five-year contract.
