Mepco recovers Rs778.8m from July to September

As much as Rs7.3 million were recovered from 558 defaulters

The Multan Electric Power Company (Mepco), in a campaign against defaulters, has recovered over Rs778.8 million from 27,752 defaulters from July to September this year.

A statement issued on Sunday revealed, the Mepco teams recovered Rs29.4 million from 3,132 defaulters of Multan circle, Rs71.2 million from 3,525 defaulter of DG Khan circle, Rs10.5 million from 793 defaulters of Vehari circle, Rs 34.9 million from 4,801 defaulters of Bahawalpur circle, Rs10.7 million from 987 defaulters of Sahiwal circle, Rs29.4 million from 2,751 defaulters of Rahim Yar Khan circle and Rs67.3 million from 3,289 defaulters of Muzaffargarh circle.


As much as Rs7.3 million were recovered from 558 defaulters of Bahawalnager circle and Rs17.7 million from 7,916 defaulters of Khanewal circle, release added.

Mepco CEO Engineer Tahir Mahmood has also directed the officers to continue drive the defaulters without any discrimination.
