Pakistan Horticulture Development and Export Company (PHDEC) with the support of Ministry of Commerce has finalised arrangements to send the first shipment of Pakistani chaunsa mangoes to US on July 27. “PHDEC last year had made arrangements to send the mangoes shipment to US, but it could not be materialised,” said the statement issued on Tuesday by the Ministry of Commerce. However, this year it has been fully ensured that there are no hurdles. Chaunsa variety of Ali Tareen Farms has been selected to be sent to US and the first consignment will be of approximately 1,200 kg.
