QUETTA: The National Party (NP) has urged its top leadership and workers across the country to ensure their participation in the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F)’s Azadi march – an anti-government protest – to be held on October 31.

In a statement on Friday, the NP asked the workers to show solidarity with the anti-government movement and welcome the Azadi march participants.

“All the district leaders across the country are asked to fully participate in the anti-government protest, Azadi march, of the JUI-F. All the workers, district, provincial, and central leadership are asked to reach Islamabad on October 31,” said the statement.

The party also said the incumbent government has “destroyed” economic and social fabric of the country. “The economy has reached historic low,” said the NP.
