She said operations of gas filling stations and oil business agencies were quite dangerous within populated areas and they cannot be allowed to run their business such populated areas. The Civil Defence Department has issued 221 challans to different departments and imposed huge fine under the Fire Safety Act. Also, to fulfill the social responsibility, more than 4,000 people have been provided with the disaster management training which would help minimise the damage in case of any mishap. She also explained that during the current financial year many terror incidents have been prevented by defusing several suicide jackets and eight hand grenades.
