Langove says it is prime responsibility of the govt to maintain law and order and ensure protection of its citizens

The Balochistan government has decided to step up its efforts to curb terrorism in the wake of the recent attacks in the province.
The provincial authorities held a meeting presided over by Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langove.
The minister was briefed by security officials about the overall law and order situation.

Langove said that it was the prime responsibility of the government to maintain law and order and ensure the protection of the lives and properties of the citizens.
“Nobody will be allowed to create unrest in the province. Peace has been restored in Balochistan after our security forces rendered great sacrifices,” he added.
The minister said the law and order situation in the province was far better than it was during the tenures of previous governments. “It is the result of continuous and exhausting efforts of our security forces.
The participants of the meeting decided to take all possible measures against terrorists and their facilitators.

Langove said the law enforcement agencies would be equipped with essential weapons and equipment to curb crime. Besides, he added, security personnel would also be provided with the technology required for surveillance.
The minister said a road map had been designed for upholding of the supremacy of law in Balochistan and efforts were being taken to fully implement it.
