Government is taking steps at the provincial level to tackle the effects of climate change

QUETTA:
Provincial Minister for Agriculture Engineer Zamrak Khan Achakzai has said that the provincial government is utilising all resources to promote sustainable agriculture in the province. The agricultural growth will expedite the development and achieve economic stability along with eliminating poverty and nutritional deficiency in Balochistan, he added.
He expressed these views while talking to a delegation.

The provincial minister said that the world is experiencing climate change which is also affecting agriculture sector hence the production is experiencing a decline.
He said the government is taking steps at the provincial level to tackle the effects of climate change and in this regard different crops and commodities are being introduced in different districts of the province to assist more production with less usage of water.
