MURIDKAY:
A clash on Tuesday between two rival groups claimed six lives – a woman and five men – in Nazang Mandi area located near Muridke, Express News reported.

The rivalry between the two groups – Shehbaz group and Aslam group – is reportedly over a murder case.

Four people belonging to Aslam group were on their way to Ferozwala court for a case hearing when Shahbaz group members opened fire on them near Bangla Bridge.


All of them – Shafqat, Rizwan and Bashir – were killed on the spot, and a person walking by, named Ashiq Rehmani was also injured in the attack.

Members of Shahbaz group also broke into Shafqat’s house and killed his wife Manzooran Bibi.

Rehmani was moved to Mayo hospital for treatment.

Police has transferred bodies of the deceased Muridke for postmortem.
