Cabinet to discuss important issues on Monday

Meeting to also hold discussions on premier’s upcoming tour to Saudi Arabia

ISLAMABAD:
The federal cabinet session will be held on Monday where several issues of national importance will be discussed.

The cabinet will deliberate on its 15-point agenda including promulgation of six presidential ordinances.

According to sources, PM Imran will take the cabinet members into confidence on his visits to China and Iran.

The meeting will also hold discussions on the premier’s upcoming tour to Saudi Arabia.

The meeting will review the political and economic situation in the country.


The cabinet will also be given a briefing on the Evacuee Trust Board and Islamabad’s master plan.

It will also discuss the reorganization of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) and review implementation report on measures taken for public interest.

The Monday session will endorse the decisions taken in the last meeting of the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC).

The agenda for the meeting also includes appointment of managing director for National Fertilizer Marketing Limited, nomination of board members according to Islamabad Healthcare Regulation Act and Real Estate Ordinance 2019.

A report on the supply and production of wheat will also be presented in the meeting.
