Twitter is generally considered the social media platform to get things to go viral. Such is the case of Usman, who became an online sensation almost overnight thanks to a tweet that has made him the ultimate 'friend zoned' desi boy.

Hilarious memes are being shared all around about the now famous Usman. 'I texted Usman I wanna eat something at this time and he just brought this to me. Y'all need a friend like Usman," shared Komal Shahid, the Twitter user who started the fire.

The words accompanied a picture of delicious snacks, including Toblerone chocolate and Tuc biscuits. It all started when Komal's friend named Usman brought her the best cakes, cookies, and chocolates as she felt hungry in the middle of the night. She also urged the Twitterati to have a friend like Usman in their lives. It was evident from the tweet that the kindhearted guy named Usman was her platonic friend.

As soon as Usman apparently brought Komal what she wanted, the happy friend posted on her Twitter account. Although it was almost 3 am in Pakistan, the whole country was up and alive as soon as they saw the tweets.

In no time #Usman started trending on twitter. While his friend Komal had a clear idea of how viral the tweet had gone, Usman had no idea of the fame he had enjoyed overnight. He became the top trend on Twitter and the entire country could not help tweeting and making memes about Usman who had been friend zoned by Komal.

Some memes included Game of Thrones fans, who used Daenerys Targaryen and her noble knight (who was also madly in love with her) Jorah Mormont as a prime example of 'friend zoned.'

Usman also set the bar high for husbands across the country, with many users comparing their spouses to him. "If my husband isn't like Usman I don't want him," read one share.

Some even mused that Usman is faster at delivering food than Food Panda. "This s**t is getting real, #Usman #Usmanda."

Here are some other hilarious memes seen on Twitter.

The number of tweets has now reached over 18,000 in one night, with Komal becoming a social media sensation also.
